Elon Musk has revealed what caused the huge Cybertruck explosion outside of Trump International hotel in Las Vegas.
On New Year’s Day, ‘a bomb or very large fireworks’ were detonated in a rented Tesla Cybertruck outside the hotel – according to Musk, CEO of Tesla.
Good lord.

The billionaire has shared that the violent act is ‘likely an act of terrorism’, happening only a few hours after the terror attack in New Orleans that killed 15 people.Agencies are now investigating if both events are linked.
Musk said: ‘Law enforcement currently believes it was most likely intentional,’ he added.
‘Both this Cybertruck and the F-150 suicide bomb in New Orleans were rented from Turo. Perhaps they are linked in some way.’
CNN reported that fireworks, gas tanks and camping fuel were recovered from the bed of the truck.
CCTV footage was found of the truck driving past the hotel an hour earlier in the day. It then circled back around and parked in front of the building.
‘Tesla vehicles transmit their state of health continuously,’ Musk stated, meaning the company was able to determine if the truck mechanics could have caused the explosion.
Sheriff Kevin McMahill said: ‘With the event that occurred [in New Orleans], and the victims there, and the additional IEDs, so as you can imagine, with an explosion here on our iconic Las Vegas Boulevard, we are taking all of the precautions that we need to take to keep the community safe.’ Labelling the explosion as an act of terror.

Musk, who is now a close friend of Donald Trump’s and has been selected to lead his “department of government efficiency”, said: ‘The whole Tesla senior team is investigating this matter right now. We’ve never seen anything like this.
‘Cybertruck is the worst possible choice for a car bomb, as its stainless steel armor will contain the blast better than any other commercial vehicle.’
Police are investigating if the driver, who died, intentionally set off the bombs or not.
